WE SUPPORT THE ANTI-VIOLENCE CENTRE OF THE “AIUTO DONNA” ASSOCIATION, WHICH HAS BEEN WELCOMING, HELPING AND PROTECTING WOMEN VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE THROUGHOUT THE PROVINCE OF BERGAMO SINCE 1998. THIS IMPORTANT PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS INEQUALITIES AND WORKS TIRELESSLY EVERY DAY TO COMBAT AND PREVENT GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE.

A DAY OF TRAINING
We had the privilege of welcoming Sara Modora, coordinator of Aiuto Donna, along with Giovanna Draicchio, lawyer and legal operator of the Anti-Violence Centre of Bergamo.
On 12 June 2024, Sara and Giovanna shared with us the important work carried out by the centre, providing in-depth training for all our staff, from office workers to production teams. It was a valuable opportunity for growth and a concrete way to raise awareness about an issue we care about. Discussing it is always the first step.

WHY WE SUPPORT AIUTO DONNA
At Magnetti Building, we believe that a company’s responsibility is not limited to its production activities, but extends to the well-being of the community in which it operates. Supporting an association like Aiuto Donna enables us to make a positive impact on the women in our community, helping to build a better future for them while raising awareness among all internal and external stakeholders.
Why do we support the project?
- Training and awareness-raising: we believe that training is essential to fostering a more aware and compassionate society. We constantly strive to provide our employees with the tools to recognise and combat violence, promoting a culture of respect and support.
- We are a megaphone for the community: supporting Aiuto Donna amplifies the voices of those who work tirelessly every day to offer help and protection to women in difficulty.
- Shared values: Aiuto Donna’s commitment to valuing women and building relationships of trust without judgement aligns with our corporate values.
We believe in the power of relationships and the importance of creating safe and welcoming environments for all.

THE ANTI-VIOLENCE CENTRE
Aiuto Donna is a space run by women, for women, with a working method grounded in several core principles: the value of being a woman, placing women at the centre of the project and an absolute commitment to non-judgement. It is on this foundation that the association’s professionals are able to offer free services such as telephone counselling, welcome interviews, risk assessments, job orientation, legal advice and psychological support.
