AUSTERITY, SIMPLICITY, HOSPITALITY
Austerity, simplicity, hospitality: these are the themes of architectural concept that guided the design of the Swiss Caritas headquarters in Ticino, by architects Matteo Milani and Fabio Trisconi for the architectural part and engineer Antonio Paronesso for the structural part. Magnetti Building effectively fulfilled the customer’s constructive requirements by constructing a multi-storey, multifunctional building (ground floor, three floors above ground with TT elements, roofing with prefinished Newplan wing elements) intended for the marketing of used objects, in addition to administration areas and a warehouse.

The occupational expansion of Caritas Ticino found its fundamental aim in the promotion of a supportive company, in which all citizens can find the key players of this process.

The new headquarters, with a total covered surface area measuring 400 m2, intended to be the image and substance of such values, as well as a place of meeting, service, information and training for the community.
