REDEVELOPMENT AND REHABILITATION
OF BUILDINGS AND URBAN AREAS

To breathe new life into buildings and entire urban areas, Magnetti Building offers redevelopment solutions that bring buildings into compliance with new regulations regarding safety, thermal efficiency, seismic resistance and fire safety. This commitment represents a responsible approach to both the territory and the safety of its inhabitants, all while leveraging the advantages of prefabricated construction.
Magnetti Building’s redevelopment projects typically include structural modifications, such as creating new entrances or installing new windows and doors, as well as internal modifications to repurpose spaces. It also offers the installation of photovoltaic systems and asbestos abatement processes.

High-quality and durable components
With its in-house laboratory, Magnetti Building ensures the use of high-quality concrete for both standard and customised mixes. The durability of each module is reflected in its enhanced overall resistance, achieved through the use of special elements for energy upgrading, high-insulation vertical and horizontal components, anti-seismic solutions and integration with technological systems.
Rapid start and guaranteed timelines
Magnetti Building oversees all phases of the maintenance plan with speed and efficiency, from project definition to production and assembly. Its ability to manage work peaks and customisation requests ensures that production timelines are accurately estimated right from the quotation phase, allowing for detailed planning and coordination of all suppliers from the outset.
Renewed security, aesthetics and quality
Magnetti Building provides existing buildings with both standard components and custom components. Energy efficiency, seismic retrofitting and aesthetic restyling are the key drivers of the project. For this purpose, Magnetti Building employs innovative concrete mixtures and finishes that can be customised in terms of colour, shape and size and creates façades that also combine materials such as wood, steel and glass.

TRAFILERIE MAZZOLENI BERGAMO
For the redevelopment project of the company’s historic headquarters in Bergamo, Magnetti Building created a reinforced concrete façade featuring alternating light and dark colours. Attractive and technologically advanced panels that capture CO2 from the air and add lightness to the structure and volumes. This important intervention, for both the company and the city, was made possible through Magnetti Building’s expertise in production and project management.

ONE OF THE MAJOR OBJECTIVES AND CHALLENGES WAS TO CREATE FUNCTIONAL WORKING ENVIRONMENTS DESPITE THE BUILDING'S UNIQUE SHAPE. WE ACHIEVED THIS BY PREFABRICATING BOTH THE STEEL STRUCTURES AND FAçADES, WHICH ALLOWED US TO REDUCE THE THICKNESS OF THE WALLS AND PROVIDE MORE INTERIOR SPACE.
